PhotoLore is an automated photo-information service operated by Christopher Hunter, an individual (Sole Proprietor). This policy explains what information PhotoLore handles when you text it a photo.
We use your photo and its metadata only to generate a single reply describing the photo, offering related local history or lore, and suggesting a few hashtags. To produce that reply, the photo (and text derived from it) is processed by service providers acting strictly on our behalf: an AI vision provider, a web search provider, and a mapping provider for reverse geocoding.
We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number to any third party. Your mobile number is used only to send you a reply; it is never provided to the processing providers above and is never used or shared for marketing.
Photos are stored only temporarily on our server for the moments needed to process them and are deleted immediately afterward — whether they arrive by text message or by direct upload. We do not keep copies of your photos. After processing a photo sent by text message, we also delete the copy retained by our messaging provider (Twilio). We do not build profiles of users.
We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with any third party for that third party's own purposes.
Message frequency varies — you receive approximately one reply for each photo you send. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out and receive no further messages; reply HELP for help.
